Alex and James travelled from the United States to celebrate their destination wedding in France, choosing the elegant Château de Mairy for a timeless celebration surrounded by their closest family and friends. I had the pleasure of joining their wedding day as a second shooter photographer, working alongside the talented Julie Chef Photography to document every meaningful moment.

Nestled in the French countryside, Château de Mairy offered the perfect setting for an unforgettable wedding day. Every space, from its elegant interiors to its peaceful gardens, reflected the refined atmosphere Alex and James had imagined for their celebration.
Their wedding perfectly combined American traditions with the timeless elegance of a French château. Guests travelled across the Atlantic to experience not only a wedding, but also the beauty, culture and hospitality that make France such a remarkable destination.
Throughout the day, every detail had been thoughtfully curated, creating an atmosphere that felt sophisticated, intimate and effortless.

As a second shooter, my role is to tell the story from another perspective.
While the lead photographer focuses on the key moments of the day, I capture everything happening around them: the quiet emotions before the ceremony, spontaneous laughter between guests, family embraces, elegant details and all the fleeting moments couples often don’t get to witness themselves.
